If you’re a fan of hiking, enjoy affordable accommodation and love the opportunity to meet fellow travellers then you’ll love the peak district experience with YHA Castleton Losehill Hall.
Once I arrived, I checked in and met 14 other fellow bloggers and influencers. Shortly after we all arrived and had a bite to eat, we got ready to begin a four-hour hike up Losehill towards Mam Tor.
During the hike, we all interacted with one another and discussed all our travelling adventures, what we get up to daily etc. It was a fantastic experience to meet other people with a huge passion for travelling and being outdoors.
Once we got back from our hike, we checked into our shared dorms, chilled out, got changed and headed down to the lounge to play board games before dinner.
That was great fun!
Although quite a few of us were confused with the new Cludo, we all found it quite amusing and had a fun time.
Once dinner was ready, we all sat down and discussed more of our travelling experiences and the hiking earlier that day. It was a lovely experience and the food tasted great!
After the meal, we all went back to the lounge, enjoyed several glasses of wine and played Heads Up!
Whether you’re a confident individual looking to up your skills, or a traveller who’s looking to improve confidence and meet others with a passion for travelling and hiking, Supper Club is the perfect experience for you.
The aim is to encourage guests to share their travelling experiences and interact with other guests. The meal is a great way for each and every guest to get to know one another and catch up about their adventures that day. The Supper Club offers a two-course meal for £9.95 at selected hostels.
YHA does a fantastic job.
Everyone that stays at the hostels, cabins or campsites contributes to YHA’s work as a youth charity. The income generated is reinvested back into the buildings and programmes, enabling them to achieve greater reach and impact on young people with challenging lives.
Everything they do is in the spirit and service of their charitable object:
“To help all, especially young people of limited means, to a greater knowledge, love and care of the countryside, and appreciation of the cultural values of towns and cities, particularly by providing youth hostels or other accommodation for them in their travels, and thus to promote their health, recreation and education.“
